Huge Demand for E-Bike Industry

An electric bike, also known as an e-bike or e-bike, is a bike with an integrated electric motor that can be used to support the drive. There are many types of e-bikes available around the world, from e-bikes with just a small motor to support the rider's pedaling force (i.e. pedelecs) to more powerful e-bikes that come closer to moped functionality. All retain the ability to be kicked by the driver and are therefore not electric motorcycles.

Some of the key players of E-Bike Industry:

Yamaha Motor Corporation, Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Accell Group N.V, Aima Technology Group Co., Ltd, Yadea Group Holdings Ltd, Pedego Electric Bikes, Merida Industry Co. Ltd, X- Treme, IZIP e-bikes, Specialized Bicycle Components, Rad power bikes, Riese & Muller

E-bikes use rechargeable batteries, and the lighter ones can reach speeds of 25 to 32 km / h, depending on local laws, while the more powerful varieties can often go in excess of 45 km / h (28 mph). In some markets like Germany from 2013 onwards they are gaining popularity and taking market share from conventional bicycles, while in other markets like China they are replacing fossil fuel mopeds and small motorcycles from 2010 onwards.

E-bikes work like hybrid electric vehicles because the electric motor combines battery power with another power source, but this time through pedal power instead of internal combustion engine power. In some cases, therefore, the terms hybrid electric bike or hybrid pedal electric bike are used
